Touring the Demographic Request Queue

Click the New Request link at the top of the Demographic Request History Queue to display the Demographic Request Queue. This queue has two areas:

The alio Vendor Portal administrator determines the demographic request options available to you. If you are not authorized to submit demographic requests, the Request Changes link does not display on the Home page.

Addresses Grid

The Addresses grid displays the addresses currently on file with the customer. You can filter the address by address type.

Address Filters

Address Type

Description

Primary

The Primary address type identifies the address used for most correspondence with the vendor.

Purchase Order

The Purchase Order address type identifies the address to which the customer's purchase order is sent.

Payment

The Payment address type identifies the address to which invoice payments are sent.

Column Heading Descriptions

Column Heading

Description

Mailing Name

This column displays the customer's mailing name.

Type

This column displays the type of address, i.e., Primary, Purchase Oder, or Payment.

Address

This column displays the customer's street address associated with the address type.

City

This column displays the city where the street address is located.

State

This column displays the state where the street address is located.

Zip

This column displays the 5- or 9-digit zip code associated with the customer's address.

Contacts

This column displays the customer contacts associated with the address.

Use the following link or buttons to add or maintain an address record.

Click the Add button to submit a request to add an address.

Submitting a Demographic Request to Add an Address/Contact

Mailing Name link

Click a Mailing Name link to maintain the corresponding details.

Submitting a Demographic Request to Change an Address/Contact

Click the Delete button that corresponds to the address to be deleted You are prompted to enter a reason for removing the address.

  1. In the Reasons for removing box, type the reason the address in no longer valid. You can enter 255 alphanumeric characters.

  2. Click the radio button of your choice:

  3. E-mail me only on the final step of the approval process. to receive an e-mail when the request is approved (default).

  4. Do not e-mail me about this request. if you do not want to receive an e-mail when the request is approved.

  5. Click the button to submit the request.

Filtering the Addresses Grid

You can filter the Addresses grid by address type and/or filter criteria boxes. All filter criteria is retained until you manually remove or change the filter criteria, close the grid filter, or log out of the alio Vendor Portal. The filter values are also removed if your alio Vendor Portal session is timed out.

Filtering the Grid by Address Type

Click the Address Type Drop Down List button to select the type of vendor addresses to be displayed in the grid. The grid is refreshed to show only the addresses that match the selected address type.

Select All to list all addresses.

Filtering the Grid using the Filter Criteria Boxes

Follow these steps to filter the Addresses grid using the data displayed in the grid columns. Applying multiple filter criteria limits the number of addresses displayed.

  1. If necessary, click the Filter button to display the filter criteria boxes that correspond to each heading in the grid.

  2. Type the filter criteria in each applicable box; use the % sign as a wildcard character.  You can type the percent sign in the following positions: X%, %X, and %X%.

  3. Press the Enter key to filter the grid.
