Setting up the Demographics Request Queue

Click the Request Setup link to customize the Demographics Request Queue to match your district's business practices. Based on these security settings, the vendors may use the Demographics Request Queue to submit changes to their address and contact information.

After setting up the Demographics Request Queue, go to the Feature Availability page to activate the queue. A request queue is not available to the vendors in the Alio Vendor Portal until the queue is activated.

Follow these steps to customize the Demographics Request Queue.

  1. Click the Request Setup link in the Navigation Menu to display the System Settings > Demographics Request Setup page.

  2. In the General Information section, type a message that will display at the top of the Demographics Request page. This message may include additional directions to completing a request, policy notices, or any other type of message. You can change this message at any time.

Your message is checked for spelling mistakes as it is typed. A misspelled word is marked with a wavy red line. Position the cursor on the misspelled word and right-click your mouse to display a list of suggested spellings for the selected word.

Click to select the Display Demographic General Information check box to display the message; or click to clear the Display Demographic General Information check box to hide the message.

  1. In the Approver field, click the Drop Down Arrow button to select the Alio Vendor Portal administrator responsible for approving vendor requests.

  2. In the Allow requests for the following list, click the check box that corresponds to each change option available to the vendor:

  3. Mailing/Contact Name Changes to allow the vendor to submit a change to the vendor's mailing name and/or contact name and title

  4. Address Changes to allow the vendor to submit a change to the vendor's primary, purchase order and payment mailing addresses

  5. Contact Telephone Changes to allow the vendor to submit a change to the vendor contact's phone number and/or extension

  6. Contact E-mail Changes to allow the vendor to submit a change to the vendor contact's e-mail address

  1. Click the button to save the record.

Click the button to reset the Demographics Request Setup parameters to the default settings.

Click the button to close the page without saving the record.
