Before using the Alio Vendor Portal, you must create an account. You need the following information to create the account:
Vendor Number used by the district for identification purposes
Federal ID
Number of a purchase order or invoice issued by the district
You create an account with a unique user name and password.
You will receive a verification e-mail after the account is created. You need to click the activation link sent in this e-mail to activate your Alio Vendor Portal account. This activation link is active for a specific number of hours after the account is created (default is 48 hours). Your Alio Vendor Portal system administrator sets the expiration time limit for the activation link.
Important Information Your vendor information is validated against the vendor information on file with the district. If an inconsistency is detected, such as an incorrect Federal EIN number, a message identifying the incorrect information will display. Please contact your Vendor Portal system administrator for assistance. |
Follow these steps to create your vendor portal account.
Launch your browser and open Alio Vendor Portal.
Click the Create account link.
Type your Account Information. This includes your Vendor Number, Last 4 of Federal ID, and a Purchase Order or Invoice No associated with the district. If you are a new vendor and do not have a purchase order or invoice number, you are able to create an account without it.
Enter your Profile Information.

Type a unique User Name to access the Alio Vendor Portal. You must create a User Name that is at least six characters in length. You can use letters, numbers, and special characters (!, $, &, etc.). |

Type a unique Password to access the Alio Vendor Portal. You must create a Password that is at least eight characters in length. Your password must include:

Retype your password exactly as entered in the New Password field. |

Type three Personal Questions and Personal Answers to be used when requesting your user name or resetting your password. Examples of security questions include your favorite hobby, mother's maiden name, the name of the college from which you graduated, and so on. |
Click the
button to submit your request. You will receive an e-mail requesting
you to confirm that you created the account.
If an inconsistency is detected between the Account Information and your vendor record on file with the district, a message displays identifying the incorrect account information. Message examples include:
Federal ID is not set up, contact vendor portal administrator at VPadmin@hammer.net to get this set up.
Invalid purchase order number or invoice number. Please contact your Vendor Portal system administrator for further assistance.
Verify that you entered the correct data in the Account Information section.
Launch your e-mail application. Open the Alio Vendor Portal system-generated e-mail and click the confirmation link to verify your account.
If you log into the Alio Vendor Portal before verifying your account, the following message will display: “The vendor account is inactive. Please check your e-mail for the activation link. If you need assistance, contact your Vendor Portal system administrator.” |
